Cardiology

Dr Said Chaaban was born in Saida Lebanon on January 15 1965. He accomplished his elementary and secondary school teaching in Saida. Then he moved to Russia in 1983, where he received his MD degree at the “KRIM Institute”. In 1991 he joined AUBMC where he spent 6 years of specialty in internal medicine and interventional cardiology after graduation from AUBMC he then joined HHUMC in 1998 and since then he is a full-time attending in the cardiology department. His main interest is interventional cardiology and heart failure treatment. He is currently the cardiology fellowship program director at HHUMC hes also a current clinical associate professor at BAU. He is an active national and international speaker and he participated as principal investigator in many clinical trials he also has several publications. He is a member of the Lebanese society of cardiology at this moment and a professional member in the European society of cardiology.He is a board member in many national and international pharmaceutical companies as well.During the past 3 years he founded a private clinical snd diagnostic center known as “CDC” in Saida city where he had his private clinic adjacent to his second clinic at HHUMC.
