JOB SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:

The Clinical Pharmacist Specialists are responsible and accountable for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. Clinical Pharmacist Specialists proficiently provide direct comprehensive and individualized patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services with physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel.

Minimum Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with Pharm D or BPS certification.
• Minimum Experience: two years ears experience at least one year experience in oncology department.
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE: The Radiology Supervisor as the direct administrative contact and liaison between the Medical Imaging Department and the Administration. Responsible for the management of the overall day-to-day administrative operations of the Department and Quality processes (policies, procedures, accreditation, equipment…). Conduct statistics, data collection and data analysis for departmental evaluation purposes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise the daily workflow activities of the Medical Imaging Department for technologists and secretaries. • Follow-up with the senior technologist for the dispatching of technologists within the dedicated modalities. • Supervise the attendance, leave and absences of department staff and back-up for replacement. • Back-up the senior technologist during absences and leaves. • Maintain interactive communication with patients and families and effectively address conflict and opportunities for improvement. • Report incidents and staff non-compliance to Quality Department. • Prepare & follow-up on purchase requests related to office supplies, furniture, equipment, hardware and accessories…) with the purchasing department. • Prepare reports and documents as required. • Participate in staff competency tests in coordination with the senior technologist and the senior receptionist. • Participate in staff performance appraisal aligned with the hospital staff performance plan. • Participate in updating on a yearly basis the staffing plan in the Medical Imaging Department. • Supervise and verify the training activities for staff (technologists and receptionists) • Supervise the training for Internship Program. • Update HR documents (Job descriptions, performance appraisals, training requests for staff, transfers…) • Coordinate with the IT Department for developing requests on the HIS system. • Solve problems related to any of the programs (HIS/RIS/PACS). • Follow-up on maintenance of equipment in coordination with the senior technologist and biomedical department. • Follow-up on maintenance repair orders in coordination with the maintenance department. • Coordinate with the Biomedical Department and senior technologist for unexpected equipment failure. • Update departmental policies and procedures and initiate new ones as per guidelines and standards. • Handle patient complaints, settle disputes, and resolve conflicts. • Conduct monthly and quarterly statistics, data collection and data analysis for departmental evaluation purposes. • Conduct Key Performance Indicators for the Department and initiating actions for improvement. • Coordinate with the Chairman to ensure proper care of all patients, appropriateness of services rendered, review processes and initiate suggestions for improvements. • Review prices in coordination with the Chief Ambulatory Services Officer and the Finance Department and initiate corrective actions for updating departmental revenues. • Follow-up on the quality control of equipment with the senior technologist. • Follow-up and maintain records for the TLD reports sent by the LAEC. • Follow-up with the senior technologist on the devices control and report. • Report of unusual incidents and complaints to the Chief Ambulatory Services Officer and to theChairman of Department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (REPORTING CHANNEL):
The supervisor is reporting to the Chief Ambulatory Services Officer.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BS in Medical Services • Master’s degree in management or health care field is mandatory. • 5 to 8 years of experience in a supervisory position in a Hospital setting preferably in the Medical Imaging Department.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Very good knowledge in English and Arabic (French is a plus). • Very good knowledge in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
